WHEN AND HOW WE SHIP
All plants ship in a 4 inch container unless specified otherwise. We ship only on Mondays and Tuesdays to assure plants are received the week they are shipped. All plants are shipped by USPS Priority Mail. Orders received by Sunday, 5:00PM PST, will be shipped by Tuesday of the same week. Orders received after Sunday, 5:00PM PST will not ship until the following week, either Monday or Tuesday.

TALL PLANTS DETECTED: Some of our plants are extra tall and can’t be cut-back for shipping without destroying the plant. In these cases I will use two shipping spaces in the box to accommodate the extra height. These plants will count as two plants when using the above tables to determine your shipping rate.
We ship year round, depending on weather conditions both at the nursery and at the final location. We will not ship under very hot or very cold conditions.
Sorry, we cannot take advance orders for future delivery. All orders requesting future delivery will be cancelled, and the payment will be voided.
The root balls of individual plants are wrapped in plastic to maintain soil moisture (see pictures of the packing process). Plants may be topped or pruned to prevent damage.

We ship throughout the Continental United States, except where restricted by law. Restrictions are listed under individual plant descriptions.
When you place your order online you’ll receive an order confirmation by email.
Due to the unpredictable nature of nursery plants, we may not at times be able to fill some items on your order. In these cases we will request your permission to ship the in-stock portion of your order, and adjust your charges accordingly (plants, tax, and shipping). We will make substitutions only by special arrangement.

If a box arrives damaged, please do not refuse delivery. Open the box immediately to assess any damage to plants. Plants are very flexible and resilient, so a few broken branches usually don’t result in any lasting damage. Give the plants a chance to recover. We will be happy to send you a refund for the original purchase price of plants that arrive with considerable damage or that fail to thrive within 30 days of receipt. Please report damaged plants and merchandise within 48 hours of receipt. Shipping charges are not refundable.
