Big, fat spikes of creamy custard yellow blooms with pinkish red calyces are very showy against deep green fragrant foliage. Plants are 18″ to 24″ and bloom from summer through fall. Full sun plant that needs well drained soil. Does best on a mound if your soil is heavy (clay) or wonderful for pots. Edible flowers can be used for infused water and are a favorite of hummingbirds.
